"In the playground, there are girls who play games for girls. There are boys who play games boy. And then the media ... "
" Sh ... "Is the story of a building, identity construction, construction of a person. But how do you build when you become born Denise and Paul? How do you build when every day is the question of gender and of gender identity?
Is the notion of any building that has guided the creation of this show and who has become the watchword. Build!
"Sh ... "Is a race to build a character, a race to verticality. During a half hour, the audience attending the live construction of a strange human-sized puppet, from scratch. Of soft matter, the hard material, clay and wood, the feminine and masculine.
Calamity:
work around Calamity Jane will begin in fall 2009 as part of a fellowship with the Collective Label Brut, a company associated with the National Theatre of Chateau-Gontier.

Shhh ... was established in June 2008 at the International Institute of Puppetry in Charleville-Mezieres. It was played in 2009 at the Festival Giboulées (TJP Strasbourg) and the Appendix of Aubilly (off of the World Festival of Puppet Theatre).
The show will be repeated in 2010 at the Quai des Arts (Silver), the Puppet Festival in Grenoble, at the Carré (Scène Nationale de Chateau-Gontier) and Home Theatre (Amiens).
