My Hair Is Naturally Wet And Wavy

The Farewell

19 days of silence on the blog. No excuses special, just unable to find the urge to tell the end because the writing would make it too real. And yet, after 19 days have passed to the stomach that twists at every goodbye, I'm trying to share my last moments in London.

I assure you, I'm not going to get into a tearful story and detailed goodbye. I told myself that after 36 weeks in Canada, I could tell you my final moments and what they have inspired me in 36 stories.

1 - I got the first one in my house in London on September 1 and I also picked last on May 1. Yep, I closed the doors, turned off the lights but I mostly watched my roommates from one to one for a week.

2 - Two days before my departure, my roommate Paul and I have smoked a cigar that I brought back from Cuba.

3 - The last time I played Mariokart with the rest of my roommates, I finished 4th at one point behind Andrew. Disgusted!

4 - My roommate wrote me a lovely farewell card. Elyse had schotchée on the mirror in our bathroom on the day of departure.

5 - David my roommate gave me a stuffed penguin, saying it would be my first step towards the cure for my phobia of animals at mouthpieces.

6 - When Nanako is mounted in the bus driving to the airport, I was not sad. Then suddenly in the day when I wanted to call to tell him to join me to eat, I felt stupid and mostly sad.

7 - Three days before leaving London, I stayed awake until 6 hours with Paul in the morning. I miss him already.

8 - During my last weekend in London, I went out one last time with Nanako, Katy and other friends. Around 2 hours, I lost Nanako and Katy, I found the bathroom, seated, both crying.

We still managed to take one last picture every 3:

9 - Paul, Elyse, Chris M, Chris R, Andrew, Tory, Michelle and David m ' promised they would come to Europe at the end of their studies, or in two years. It's a long two years.

10 - I had 5 exams, I was told not to review, it was a waste of time. I could not believe it and yet the reviews were all easier than each other.

11 - "What tengo que hacer para que vuelve conmigo, vamos a dejar el pasado atras, para mi la vida no tiene sentido, if you vaaaaaaaaas"

12 - Just before he left, Paul said "Faustina, I'm leaving, give me a hug now."

13 - The week before I left London, I ate 6 burgers. Bah what? Must enjoy!

14 - I wrote a cute card to each of my roommates before they leave, but one who comes to France next year. Damn!

15 - This 6 nights I fall asleep listening without hearing Elyse Andrea Bocelli and I have the stomach twists when I think it will not happen again.

16 - Cronyn House had mice, bats, which broke windows at the slightest gust of wind, a basement panicking, invasions of ants and yet ...

17 - Nanako made me listen to a Japanese singer "Ayaka" throughout the year, I understood nothing and the day of her departure, she copied the lyrics in English on a sheet of paper , the singer tells her that no matter the distance, people will always be under the same sky. Yup corny, but it reassures.

18 - For our last evening together between roommates, we went to eat in town. For the first time we were all very quiet ...

19 - During my last week I could count on the best of brothers who endured all my desperate calls.

20 - I left London in a downpour.

21 - There is always something to eat at Sarah Eliot in Montreal ...

22 - I could never watch L'Auberge Espagnole without a twinge of regret when Xavier made his farewells.

23 - I do not yet fully realize that I will not go back to London. I feel like going on a trip and come back in a few days.

24 - I left London on May 1st, towards Montreal. Arrive at the bus station in London, I stumbled upon Dino, a friend met this year that took, like me, the bus to Toronto. It made me laugh during our two hours of the bus and therefore made the start much less difficult.

25 - In two days, Sarah and I are leaving for California. San Francisco first, then Los Angeles, and an organized trip to Wyoming, Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon and then short trips to smaller cities in California! It is really great this life.

26 - Before last night, we left a member of our family to Montreal airport, I was sad that he, too normal it was "lost" to have time to be sad. :)

27 - Chris Mallott, a friend from London who did not live with us but Cronyn spent his entire days texted me the day I left, saying "Just remember if you're ever in Canada again, You Have family here. "

28 - I could inspire my roommates to the desires of French gastronomy, but it's not my gender. Instead, I made them discover the ketchup on rice . And they love it.

29 - In London, people dined between 17 hours and 18 hours. And they eat again to 22heures. It was the perfect place!

30 - Campus Cinema at 3 dollars offered weekly two films in the cinema in the last 4 months I will miss. Nanako And who asked me 10 questions at the end of the film because she did not understand I will miss even more!

31 - The small Korean restaurant made me love Asian food I miss ...
Okay here is the BUL GO GI: Korean marinated beef sauce.

32 - During my last week I've been thinking about my sister crying after 3 weeks at camp when she must say goodbye. You would never worry out here Pauline!

33 - For my last night in London, I was all alone in my house, Dave and Chris were the only M still in London came to visit me, we walked a last time on campus. It was hot at once we went to lie down on the football field for the last time.

34 - Since she returned to Japan, Nanako sends me a message every other day to tell me what it does tell of his days. And since she left, whenever I eat in a restaurant, I expect that someone asks me to pose with my food, and nobody does. Sarah Eliot, you know what you have to do.

35 - I can not stand the idea of not knowing what qu'Elyse done. Our doors were always open, so I knew she was watching a film, worked, read, was on the phone or if she was sleeping anymore ....

36 - I left a very big part of me in London, tomorrow I left Montreal, I may also leave a track. I hope he will still be a bit of me in France.
