Hairstyles 2010 Brown Hair

Part 4: Graubünden

card we pass in the Grisons:

August 9: Vals (Peil)-alp under the collar of Valserberg (+ 530 m) 2h

Highly recommended, this Camping Trun: hot shower "free", 30 € for 5: Child rates up to 15 years. Nice boss and speaking French with an accent Romansh exotic. We come to Idensis shopping and take the difficult weather looming in the coming days: cold and wet :-( Time seemed a little better in Italy, we decided to go back south. Apolline having had the good idea to rip away Twin Peaks with a stick (accidentally of course) we managed to repair it with cyanoacrylate glue! We return to Vals in the car, go up to the hamlet of Peil 1700 m to avoid too long climb cold Josephine convalescent. Around 17 pm we leave quietly hoping that his knee yours. After 2 hours of walking we bivouac at 2230 m in the alpine meadows below the neck Vlaserberg. The knee held, hope is reborn! We're all happy to meet us and perform for the occasion with a banquet pastures an omelet Appenzell tomatoes with her carrot puree, followed by the famous custard Cold Dr. Oetker, then bake at ovomaltine (Swiss specialty), two Lindt chocolate, apples and fresh grapes. With all that we should have at least 4 kg on the back by someone ... 22 to 30 pm, at the end of the meal, we go watch the comet (the night of the stars approach).

A trade that is feminine? We only see shepherds ...

All omnivores ...

Still a shepherdess!

The hundredth bathtub enameled holiday:

Where?
Here!
Col. in the clouds ...

August 10: Col de Valserberg - Splügen (+ 270 m - 1040 m) 5 h

We get up at 7 am 30. The cows, many of these pastures have left us alone ... Departure at 9 am to 45 Valserberg Pass (2504 m) nearby.

Remains of bunkers dominate the latter, indicating the proximity to the Italian border (the San Bernardino).

No pain for Josephine in the climb, the descent cons by a rutted path by cows fatigue.

Cairn incarnate?

Flag of Graubünden

NUFENEN We reach the valley and have our picnic at the church. This village consists only of farms. Local residents pass before us without meeting our hello ... unusual, almost bizarre.

We continue down a path along the Rhein, pleasant if not the noise of the road on the other side. This flat walk our convalescent fatigue that drags a little leg.
So it frees up time to observe the flowers in detail ...

The hay before the rain ...

Not gear Motor = peace and love!

we cross the river by a covered wooden bridge and win the village Splügen location of a campsite, expensive but well equipped.
The 5 7 mercenaries ... hikers!

Weather deteriorating frankly the next day, we decide not to climb the pass to Italy and originally planned to continue the path along the stream.

Splügen

hiking maps are posted in each village: Royal!
August 11: Splügen - Cresta (- 250 m + 250 m) 5 h

So we continue to descend along the stream up to 1200 m. We spend our day to squeeze the motorway San Bernardino and the torrent that passes through beautiful canyons to the junction with the Val Ferrera. .

Gnome garden pot cheese filled with flowers ...
Fortress Museum (never used ;-)

Gateway suspended below the road ...

The trail passes over the tunnel of the highway ...
Across a career that we anxiously await the deafening explosions!
Here we go up the road Ausserferrera (No trail) to close up the neck for tomorrow (2500 m)

No camping except "Magic Wood" camp climbers block full to bursting.

Painters creating a mural across the gable of the house!
Josephine Chic-ara

is mounted above Ausserferrera and found a place discreet in an undulating field whose ripples we hide in the eyes of passers camping prohibited in Switzerland! The late afternoon is finally sunny and we take our exposure to the west for a precious relaxation until the mountain forms a screen and plunges us into darkness.
At the evening meal, the ritual polenta with tomatoes and cheese ...

August 12: Cresta - Savognin (+ 1000 m - 1300 m) 7 pm

After a short night because chopped by the grains, the thunder and lightning, we move toward the pass da Schmorass (2564 m). No rain, what luck! Along the way we meet many who enjoy black salamanders foggy out.

"The queen is" ... hidden!
Queen of camouflage!

Event of the beam soap ...

Dozens of black salamanders s on the trail: http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salamandre_noire

In the descent of the pass, we are watered thoroughly. It dipped as we arrive in Savognin, jackets in Pertex have shown their limitations :-( Stupidly we did not put our backs on the mat and shelter soon enough, as expected, and once wet it does seeing more interest.

We find these old cabins lifts in each garden, such as shelter, game for children or as here in the entrance Cabin

A Savognin, we're looking camping, campsite in fact a fully paved. Not a blade of grass to plant a shelter! The Guardian advises us to go to the Cantina, home for employees, only relatively cheap housing sector (35 Fch per person with breakfast). Exorbitant rates for hotels 3 or 4 times more expensive are prohibitive for a family vacation.
We fully dry in the laundry room and appreciate the warm welcome our host. Outside it pours, hope he does better tomorrow!

La Cantina:

Very beautiful wall paintings of the 17th century:

August 13: Savognin - Bivio (+600 m) 4 h

Excellent breakfast in the Cantina (yogurts, fruit, bread, coffee, chocolate will, muesli, cheese ...). Back to the Tourist Office to check the weather: we decided to head south along the Valley Trail "Talweg. The goal of the day is 20 km Bivio.
A strange fire escape!
Many benches dedicated to couples or donors posthumous tribute to the place of their first meeting? Never enrolled in schools of the society.

The ceiling is low ... we appreciate this trail first follows the stream and then climbs to Tinisong Rona by "Römerweg. This is part romantic forest of tall pines, ground round rocks covered with moss.
sculpture fountains Chainsaw:

At Rona we have our picnic on a picnic table covered by droplets shelter run by the club stuck in the pews. Then we go back towards Sur in a little delirious with the "bus shelter": rain coat tri-square.

Poncho collective heavy rain :-)

New variant of collective poncho, rain version:

Serpentine:

It dates back to 1800 m and then descends to 1600 m. Sur Here, Cathy indicates its intention to take the bus to Bivio, which is still 10 km. Denis bends in spite of a new penknife in a non-motorized transport, the majority having voted in favor of the solution avoiding the imminent shower :-( At Bivio, we do the shopping and then we head to the empty parking lot serving as camping. Located just off the main road, you have to cross it to reach the toilets of a restaurant closed nuit.C is very murky but nobody No one wants to climb in alpine search bivouac with rain falling for ....( 15 FCH 2 tents: cheap). It's cold, it rains. We go to sleep hoping that the sun is the rendezvous for our passage to the next pass of SetTimer. Morale is not the highest ...

The "camping" Bivio :-(

14 August Bivio - Maloja (+ 850 m - 850 m) 5 h

Revival was voted the day before at 6 pm to enjoy the sunny morning for the pass in good conditions. Then we head into the Engadine and its lakes. It was around 8 am 30 that we start from a clear sky but that will gradually cover. First we climb the gentle slopes and grasslands that lead to no Sett (2310 m), then bifurquons eastward to enter the pass Lunghin 1 h (2645 m), point of land (North Sea, Adriatic, Black Sea).

... "A unique attraction in Europe is on the top of Lunghin. This is three courses their sources of water to flow after a long journey in three different sea. East side, the Inn goes via the Danube into the Black Sea, north-east, Julia takes its course via the Rhine into the sea North and to finish, the Mera, south-west joins the Po, which flows into Lake Como, to complete their routes in the Adriatic ."...

The colors of the rocks near the lake Lunghin remind us of the sector by Marinet Ubaye.

Scottish Cows ...

We descend quickly to Maloja, come across a few hotels for wealthy clients and we will install the campsite at the lake. Just arrived, it started raining again :-( We have our picnic under their giant teepee , Eat in the evening at the campsite very good pizza and give up back to the village for shopping, the rain did not cease. This campsite has exceptional health, with all new hot water at all faucets.

One of the hotels Maloja:

August 15: The End ...

After a disastrous night for Cathy and Denis (water seepage through the seams of the shelter GoLite Denis was not sealed with silicone), feet in the water given the marshy ground where the camp is built, we decided to stop our march this year. We return by bus and train to Vals. There, Louis and Denis get the car back to Peil (running in the storm), then we reach Venice to spend several days touring the city sun.

next year in Slovenia! ;-)
